Telemarketer:

Tri-State Light & Energy is currently seeking an experienced business-to-business telemarketer who is comfortable reaching out to CEOs, CFOs, Facility Managers and Business Owners. This is a part-time position in our Broomall, PA office. The hours are flexible and we can discuss a schedule that works best for you when we talk.

You are an experienced telemarketer who wants to work with a small, friendly group (not a boiler room). Your efforts will contribute directly to the success of the company while you continue to grow professionally.

This position will support the sales staff by calling decision makers to share information about our offerings and available programs and book appointments, letting our lighting experts do what they do best … sell.

The measure of success will be setting appointments with other businesses. You may also be involved with creating scripts and approaches, as well as research to develop call lists and target markets.

Electricians:

Energy efficiency is good business and we need qualified, competent electricians to join our team.

We are looking for team players who are resourceful, self-motivated and take pride in their work. You must be flexible and adaptable to changes in both priority and responsibility. You must be comfortable taking directions from printed work orders and tracking your own productivity.

Lighting Auditor:

Lighting systems in existing buildings often use too much energy. Even worse, many of those lighting systems were laid out and installed by people who, unfortunately, didn’t have a clue about good lighting design. We can fix that and you can help.

When a client hires us, we perform a detailed survey of their existing facilities and lighting systems. We identify and count every luminaire, measure existing light levels, and observe the space for glare, shadows, contrast ratios and other issues affecting the quality of the lighting environment. Then we recommend retrofits, upgrades and control strategies to lower energy consumption and improve visual comfort and performance. They save energy, save money, and get better lighting. It’s a good deal all around.

Customer demand for our services is growing rapidly and our team of experienced Lighting Efficiency experts needs your support. As a Lighting Auditor, you will work with many of our team members to help them respond to customer requirements. You will also work directly with customers.

Our focused training program will provide an education on our business, our services, energy, and all aspects of lighting from auditing to analysis and design.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Participate in on-site energy assessments of our client's facilities
  • Assist in the development of customized solutions that help our clients reduce energy usage and costs
  • Use our in-house software to produce detailed customer proposals
  • Assist project managers during the implementation phase of projects

This is a full time, introductory position. As you learn and grow, you will assume a wide variety of additional responsibilities that span all aspects of the business.

Requirements:

  • A strong candidate for this position will be good with numbers and pays attention to detail. We need someone who can effectively use computers, software, and technology to get things done.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • An advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is critical.
