About JCP&L's Direct Install for Small Businesses
Direct Install will help you improve your facility's energy performance while making upgrading to energy efficient equipment easy and affordable. Aside from reducing your monthly energy costs, the program offers incentives for qualifying upgrades with 0% financing for up to five years. No out of pocket costs plus better performing lighting and equipment means a healthier, safer, easier to maintain facility.

The Direct Install Process
- We conduct a free, no-obligation, on-site energy assessment of your facility.
- After reviewing the assessment results, we give you a proposal that includes qualifying energy efficiency measures and JCP&L’s approved incentive towards your project.
- You approve the proposal and we prepare for the installation of top of the line energy-saving equipment that will cut your energy costs significantly.
Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the JCP&L program, you must be a JCP&L customer of record on a commercial rate class with a separately metered JCP&L electric or gas account. Residential Service (RS), Residential Time-of-Day Service (RST), or Residential Geothermal & Heat Pump Service (RGT) do NOT qualify. Each facility under consideration must have average monthly demand of 200 kW or less to be considered.
