TSLE awarded ESCNJ's Electrician Services-Job Order Contracting for all regions.
In 2024, The Educational Services Commission of New Jersey (ESCNJ) awarded Tri-State Light & Energy the Electrician Services contract for Regions 1, 2, 3, and 5 in New Jersey. This is in addition to Region 4 which TSLE has represented since 2022.
As an ESCNJ vendor, member organizations can save valuable time working with TSLE on their energy efficiency projects without developing bid specifications, advertising or doing research. ESCNJ’s cooperative system ensures cost-effective solutions and compliance with New Jersey regulations. We look forward to working with ESCNJ member educational institutions and municipalities.

Founded in 1977, The Educational Services Commission of New Jersey (ESCNJ) is the largest Educational Services Commission in New Jersey, providing educational and business services to over 700 school districts and municipalities throughout the state. It is also the largest state approved Co-op in New Jersey.

What is Job Order Contracting (JOC)?
Job Order Contracting is a unique, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) procurement process. Awarded Bids through the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey help facility and infrastructure owners complete repair, maintenance, and renovation projects with a single, competitively awarded contract. Unlike traditional bidding where each project is identified, designed and then put out to bid, Job Order Contracting establishes competitively-bid prices up front and eliminates the need to separately bid each project.
